Services

Catering

Wild Bearies provides Catering Services featuring Executive Chef Elena Terry. We provide this as a tool for educational outreach, representation, preservation and advocacy focused around our ancestral foods. Catering services are provided so that we may operate the WB Culinary Mentorship and Garden Programs. When you hire Wild Bearies for a catering you are helping to support these learning and healing efforts within our community. This is not a catering business but an operational program with limited capacity. We appreciate the grace and understanding when planning events and are grateful for the support and the space to facilitate our mentorship program.

*Please note you will have program participants assisting with providing the services. We ask that the spaces where we are invited are open and respectful of what these programs provide to our community.

Community Outreach

As a relatively new organization, our capacity to facilitate Community Outreach efforts is limited. We prioritize tribal communities and reserve many of our traditional resources for these interactions. When able, we enjoy many partnerships with local growers and producers as well as similarly missioned organizations. When possible, we offer outreach which supports our mission of a stronger and more understanding greater community.

Seed Savers and Growers

Wild Bearies works in cooperation with the Indigenous Seed Savers Network, Dream of Wild Health and multiple tribal or tribal member owned farms in continuing the stewardship of ancestral seeds.

*Due to the overwhelming amount of requests for Indigenous seeds, as a board we have decided to halt distribution beyond our tribal community. Although we are grateful for the interest and sincerity expressed in wanting to assist in multiplying these precious seeds, we must prioritize providing these ancestors to our community along with the education needed to support their growth.

We appreciate everyone hearing our message with kindness and understanding. Please know that it is not meant to offend but only to support our mission of providing a stronger future for the next generations.
